A distinctly Irish feel will be in the air at Mount Stewart from 2pm to 5pm on Thursday 17 March, as the National Trust gardens will be 'Going Green’ with a difference.

Find out how to propagate plants with grow your own plant propagation demonstrations, organic composting advise, plant sales and of course access to one of the world’s most spectacular gardens. Buy some Shamrock to honour the saint, take a garden tour and learn about the history and ongoing restoration works that are currently taking place in this very Irish of gardens.

There will also be the opportunity to take a tour of the impressive house, explore the exquisite gift shop and second hand book shop, or simply relax in the stunning Bay Restaurant.
