We are delighted to welcome Katherine Hunka and Sophia Rahman, both of whom are making their first visit to Tullynally.
Katherine Hunka was appointed leader of the Irish Chamber Orchestra in 2002, and has guest led the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and the Royal Scottish National Orchestra. Her debut duo recital with Sophia Rahman at the Wigmore Hall received critical acclaim. She has broadcast for BBC Radio 3, Classic FM, Lyric FM and Swiss radio.
Sophia Rahman was elected an associate of the Royal Academy of Music in 1997. She is a founder member of the acclaimed Plane-Dukes-Rahman Trio, currently Artists-in-residence at Queen’s University, Belfast. She has appeared with the chamber ensembles of the English Chamber Orchestra, Northern Sinfonia, London Mozart Players and with the Soloists of the Royal Opera House

Tickets will be on general sale from Friday 25th. June, Price €25.00, which includes admission to Tullynally Gardens.
Please take the opportunity to have a picnic with your friends in the Castle grounds before the concert, which will be held as usual in the Great Hall.
A limited number of buffet suppers produced by Verity Butterfield of “Burnt Vanilla” will be available by prior reservation only in the Coffee Shop from 6.30 p.m., price € 25.00. These must be booked in advance with Mrs. Taylor.

Wine and Soft drinks will be available in the Castle during the interval.
